What you will be doing as a Core Engineer

• Maintain customer's products in customer's network.
• Perform frequent audits of lab nodes and take appropriate actions to ensure all systems/nodes are operational.
• Test new Features, Performing ATP and regression testing for Hotfixes and both firmware and software upgrades.
• Perform MOP preparation, planning and executing day to day activities. Collect Traces, Logs, and Data in support of testing and issue investigation.
• Research and provide Technical Answers to customer's questions.
• Provide daily and weekly status updates of deliverables, open issues, issues resolved, accomplishments, and challenges.
• Assist in creating technical process and procedure manuals in regard to Core Network Engineering practices.
• Create Engineering services around in support of 5G and Internet of Things (loT), like initial network planning, equipment commissioning, installation & provisioning, testing and operationalization.
• Evaluate technological trends and industry migrations to enable GTA to provide cutting edge services and solutions for loT and CBRS Strategy Development.
• Test and maintain technical GTA in-house hardware and software.
• Develop Core Engineering training material for in-house consumption.
• Create and deliver of VoLTE, 5G and loT technology training.
• Integrate the use of new technology and new tools to enhance GTA's services portfolio.
• Assist in the development and input of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFI) by lending technical knowledge and experience to provide essential content.
• Present the market level improvement, expected results and optimization efforts.
• Frequent travel required to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
• This position requires 30% national travel throughout the U.S. to perform duties at client location and have meetings with client.

What you will bring to the table as a C&I Engineer

• US Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering, plus one (1) year of experience as an electrical/telecommunications engineering professional.

• Must have one (1) year of experience in ATP and regression testing, 5G, Internet of Things (loT), CBRS, VoLTE and LTE.
