Looking for a Fiber Designer
What you will be doing as a Fiber Designer
- Draft and/or design drawings in customer specified format, Bentley MicroStation/AutoCAD. Format from preliminary design drawings and/or field notes.
- Update/create Microsoft Excel documents.
- Translate field notes, verbal and written information into Bentley MicroStation/AutoCAD drawings and designs.
- Organize the layout of plans, details, and units on the Bentley MicroStation/AutoCAD drawings.
- Ensure all drawings and designs are formatted to company standards and customer specifications.
- Develop and maintain strong positive relationship with employees and clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of Bentley MicroStation/AutoCAD is preferred.
- Candidates with previous experience in Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD or SpatialNET is a plus.
- Must be proficient in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Office application (emphasis Excel).
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Able to effectively handle multiply priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, organization, oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work alone or with a team.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other team members.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
