Position Title: RF Tuning Engineer
Position Duties: Work on RF network performance optimization covering field & KPI optimization using parameter tuning. Perform day to day customer interaction on planning and execution of PoC/trials and deployment of networks. Work on collection of planning inputs and deployment flavors to prepare the lab and field configuration files. Understand customer network deployment from RAN perspective and provide necessary inputs back to engineering teams for solution validation. Troubleshoot RF, software and hardware related issues impacting the performance. Work towards KPI acceptance for trial site and markets. Analyze and generate KPI reports. Follow up with remote engineering and Level 3 support teams for issue resolution and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Build test plans and execute strategies for qualification of new products and features. Implement and test new products and features in lab and field environments. Work on golden configuration finalization for different deployments. Coordinate, guide, and supervise the field drive test teams for testing the RF environment during field trial and deployment phases. Perform parameter audits on regular basis. Develop various guideline, process & MOP documents. May perform work at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelors’ degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering, plus two (2) years of experience as an RF engineering professional.
Special Skill Requirements: Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following skills: Actix, Atoll, TCPU, Cluster/Market KPI improvement, frequency planning and interference analysis, site survey and initial tuning.
