Position Title: RF Engineer
Position Duties: Responsible for all new solutions (RF Design and optimization) including 5G POC and Rollout, NB-IoT, VoLTE and Massive MIMO deployments. Engage multiple vendors for 5G products, solutions, and software releases. Work closely with project managers, product managers, and engineering teams to adapt the verification approach for the Local Customer environment then negotiate the verification strategy with the customer. Work with network performance components, troubleshoot network performance problems and provide solution methods for throughput issues, drop call rates, access/RACH failures using OSS and UE traces (Layer 3, SIP & Diameter) for Samsung and Mavenir OEMs. Analyze new product designs and their performance requirements. Troubleshoot radio solutions to identify design or performance shortcomings. Implement test and validation methods using analytical tools such as Alteryx and big data for efficient integration coverage and developing all calibration and performance optimization processes for 5G (C band, mmWave, DSS) and LTE technologies. 100% telecommuting allowed anywhere in US. Work will be performed at various, unanticipated work sites throughout the U.S.

Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: US bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and one (1) year of experience as an RF engineering professional or a substantially similar position.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year of experience in each of the following: Python; Alteryx; Tableau; IRIS View; True Call; MySQL; Power BI; NetScout; XLPT; Wireshark; XCAP; QGIS; iBwave; Atoll; and Planet.
